[Dr. Roane sits at a large wooden conference table, addressing the camera with a friendly demeanor.] I'm Matt Roane and I’m the dentist here at Roane Family Dental [We see the entrance to the dental practice - surrounded by white brick in a modern architectural style. The large glass doors are surrounded by a wooden pergola. Above that, a white sign that reads "Roane Family Dental"] When patients come to our office, they can expect to have the highest level of care. [We are now inside the dental practice, looking towards the doors we just saw from the outside. The mother and daughter enter and walk towards a reception desk where they are greeted by a female receptionist.] We respect their time, we respect their budget. [The receptionist has a brief chat with the mother and daughter, everyone is smiling. The receptionist gestures toward the interior of the office, prompting the mother and daughter to walk down a nearby hallway.] Ultimately, we're trying to match our services with what's important to them [Dr. Roane sits down at a meeting table in a private room with the mother and daughter. He is holding an iPad and starts a conversation with the mother.] It's so important for us to have a conversation with a patient we try and find out what is really important to them [Dr. Roane shows some dental photos on the iPad, featuring someone's teeth, then continues the conversation with the mother.] What do they want to change what do they want to improve it's a conversation. [The mother is now sitting in a dental chair in an examination room. A female dental hygienist enters the room and greets the mother. The hygienist then lowers the dental chair and puts a dental bib around the mother.] The people we have here really care about patients. We love what we do and I think that shows when a patient walks in the door, they feel that warmth. [We see some shots of the reception area, showing off a clean and modern style of decor. In a different examination room, the daughter is now in a dental chair with a bib around her. A different female dental assistant shows her how to brush her teeth using an oversized model of a mouth.] They feel that we do care about them that we're happy to have them here and we're going to take really good care of them [We return to the mother in the dental chair. A female dental assistant gives her a pair of orange sunglasses to help her feel more comfortable under the bright light. Then, the dental assistant activates a dental camera to take photos of the mother's mouth.] Staying on the cutting edge of technology is super important to me [We cut to later in the appointment where the mother is seated in a different chair, now being attended to by Dr. Roane. He uses an intraoral scanner in her mouth to take 3D images of her teeth.] It basically gives me an opportunity to provide the very best dental care for our patients. One of the pieces of technology that we use day in and day out is the cone beam CT scanner [The mother stands inside the cone beam CT scanner as an assistant operates the touchpad. The machine spins around the mother, scanning her entire head.] It's a 3d imaging machine that helps us capture very important details and the anatomy of the patient's mouth [Dr. Roane and the mother are now standing in front of a computer screen that shows the images from her CT scan. The images show here entire teeth and jaw structure and even much of her skull.] So we can help diagnose and find issues that may be there that the patients may not even be aware of. [Dr. Roane works on a computer-type device designing a dental implant.] Another really cool piece of technology that we offer is what we call same-day crowns [A dental assistant operates a dental implant shaping machine which can form a dental implant in minutes. We see the water jets that cut the implant, and then the final product which looks like a real tooth.] If somebody needs a significant restoration, something made of porcelain that's strong, needs to last a long time, that type of service used to take a minimum of two appointments oftentimes over a span of two weeks we can do that same type of procedure now in two hours, single visit. Again, it's respecting our patients’ time and also providing the very best that dentistry has to offer. [Dr. Roane walks down one of the hallways in his practice, looking confident and proud.] I’m very proud of what I do, I love what I do. [We see a stack of Dr. Roane's business cards. Then, one of the female dental assistants shares a smile with a middle-aged male patient as she checks his blood pressure. A female hygienist talks to the young daughter from earlier as she works on her teeth.] You know at the end of the day what makes me feel most proud is the level of attention and care and how hard we work to really make every patient's experience the very best here [The daughter and a different female assistant now walk down one of the practice's hallways, both of them smiling. Dr. Roane sits at a computer, looking at a 3D scan of someone's lower teeth. Dr. Roane, the receptionist, and the 4 female dental hygienists stand outside of the practice laughing with each other, the front entrance behind them. ] …and so at the end of the day when we go home we know we've given our patient the very best.
